Cox Historical and Genealogical Library in Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee. There is a listing for John Ellis and Elizabeth Gregg on August 27, 1802. The marriage license number is 832. A Samuel Gregg signed the marriage bond. You can email Don Miller at dmiller@ggcpl.org at the T. E. Cox Historical and Genealogical Library and request a copy of the original marriage license and bond which are on file at his library.
