I suspect that John ELLIS died in Madison County, Alabama b/t 1818-1820 and his widow went on to marry John S. WHITE b/t. 1820- 1823, in Lawrence County, Alabama. Can anyone confirm or deny the 1802 TN. marriage and have any info on John ELLIS? Source for the marriage is LDS. I am keenly interested in a daughter from the above marriage, Nancy "Ann" ELLIS who married Robert Macklin White abt. 1823 in Franklin, Madison or Lawrence County, Alabama. This latter marriage has yet to be located, but the couple are said to be the parents of Martha Catherine WHITE who M. Richard Weaver NORWOOD. Sr. in Lawrence County, Ala. 19 Jan 1854.
