Surnames: Easterly Ziebly Bauer Sivy Moats Welty Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ihB.2ACI/4326.1 Message Board Post: Michael Oesterlein (Easterly) who emigrated in 1738 on the ship Snow Two Sisters was from Ittlingen which is where the Zirckel family was from according to Annette Burgert's book "Eighteenth Century Emigrants Vol. I The Northern Kraichgau". Is Jacob or Michael related to Conrad Easterly? Also on the ship Robert and Alice in 1743 that Conrad and Georg Easterly were on was the name Joseph Ziebly and next to him Deobold Bauer. Joseph Sevely appears in the Shenandoah Co. VA area early on and I believe he is the father of Mathias Sivy who was the father of Elizabeth Moats nee Sivy. Henry Moats and wife Elizabeth migrated to Greene Co. TN in 1802 and John Welty was a witness on his 1806 will. There were connections between Bauer and Sivy in Shenandoah Co but I'm not sure if that Bauer family was related to Christian Bauer/Bowers or to Deobold Bauer on the ship list. I am still researching this.
