She was born 19 Dec 1807, same year as her husband David Logan. That doesn't match you Elizabeth born in 1827. McFerrin is another common spelling for this Scottish surname. On some records, that is how it is spelled for Elizabeth, but after researching the family history, I discovered that the correct spelling for this branch is McPheron. I have posted quite a lot of McPheron research online. I think if you search rootsweb for Elizabeth McPheron born 19 Dec 1807 you should be able to find it to see if it has any connection with your Elizabeth. Her parents were William McPheron and Jane "Jennie" McAmis. She did have a brother named James McPheron, but I have not been able to find a DOB for him. Most of the McPheron's from the branch moved to Allen County Ohio in the mid 1830's. If you think this is a lead, you can follow up with me.
