My reference was the North Carolina Land Grants in Tennessee, 1778-1791 by Burgner. I don't know exactly what they were using for reference. The numbers in front of the Grants I had assumed were from the actual Land Grants. I would have to check the actual NC Land Grants to find if William Logan had his application for his RW pension rejected there. The 1810 Greene Co. Tax list has David Logan in Capt. Olinger's Company. A William and David Logan show up in Blount Co.Court Records 1808-1811I don't have this resource however. There was also a William Logan on the Williamson Co. 1810 Tax list, and appointed JP in Williamson Co. in 1811. The Census schedule for 1790 (Western Territory) TN was burned ,as was the 1810 except for Rutherford Co.
