J Kesterson' Company of Taxables, Gr. TN. He owned 2 slaves. Matthew Pate, N.C. Grant #1913, 1787-1788, 100 avs North Side of the Nolichucky River. Mathew Pate, In 1800 shows on the Chucky R Capt. J Kesterson Co. He owned 7 slaves. Matthew Pate, In the yr 1785 shows with 375 acs of land on the Nolichucky River, Capt Henry Conway's Co, State of Franklin todays Gr. TN Matthew Pate with Jermiah and Thomas Pate show with 500 acs on Chucky River, Gr. TN. in 1798 Capt William Whites Co. This is all that is listed hope it helps. Margaret Patton
