Don't know who Jacob Smith's parents were. Found he was in CW 1862-65 from Graysburg and his wife Nancy lived in Rheatown, TN. My gf was William Lewis Smith 12/10/1861 died 14 Feb 1940, buried at Rheatown cemetery along with his wife Lucindia Moyers Dotson Smith who died in June, 1908. William married Lucinda in July 1892. Nancy Bennett was born in Greene Co TN in 1837, her father was PM Bennett (1807) SC and moved to Tenn in 1835, left for Greene (Springfield) Missouri with wagon train in 1850. Died in 1880 and is buried in Springfield cemetery. PM's wife was Sarah Kelsey and she died in 1876. Thats is all the info I can come up with, many dead ends.
