I am related to Alfred McNabb and Sarah Ann "Sally" Drain. Her parents are John Drain born 1790 and Sarah Henderson. They are the ones who got this whole conversation started! The thing I am interested too in finding out, is if Almira White is related in any way to this John White. She married my other Grandfather, John Anderson. I have not been able to find out who her parents are either. So that would be interesting if they were related. This side of the family is so hard to find. They all had last names that seemed to more common than my other side of the family. That makes it harder to trace, especially when they have a very popular first name to go along with it. Do you know how many John Andersons there are? My gosh! That one alone could drive me crazy! The Drain name is about the least common name, and maybe the McNabb name.
