Priscilla Logan who married John Smith (my line) is the youngest child of David Logan. I don't know why David Logan would have left Greene County, but the son named in the will, James Logan, died in Illinois as well. He has a descendant on the net. I will try to find her e mail address for you. I think that the daughter named Jane Logan Stanley moved west as well. One other thing - did you realize that David Logan, Sr. was married twice and his first marriage was in 1803 to Peggy McPherron? She is believed to have died. David married Priscilla Woolsey Cole, widow of _____ Cole in 1806. Doug
