I'm afraid I don't have any information on his marriage or offspring, as I've gotten most of my info back that far off the 'net. I do have info on John. N. Dykes' descendant, Alpha Dykes Whitehead, who was my grandmother. Have you tried FamilySearch.org, or Worldconnect at RootsWeb? Just try entering the Dykes' names in the search boxes.
