My family and I have no record of Arnold's parents or siblings. However, we know he married Rhoda Yeakley who was born in Greene County, Tennessee. That county is where Silas Helton married Sarah Scott in 1808, according to a Rootsweb contributor's database entry. This suggests the possibility that Silas was the father or close relative of Arnold Lee. Is it possible the record of children of Silas and Sarah is incomplete, given their first child (William) was born in 1810 and their second (Millicent) in 1828 -- an unusual gap of 18 years. Silas also appears as a head of household in the Carter Co.
