He married Hiley Carter. They had sons named Robert Myers (died in the Civil War), Alexander Myers, and Samuel Franklin Myers. Alexander Myers stayed in Greene Co., TN and has lots of descendants there. Samuel Franklin Myers moved to the Chariton, Iowa area in about 1900. He has several descendants scattered all over the US. I descend from Henry Myers and Elizabeth Trobaugh through their son Michael Myers. Michael Myers married Sophia Carter - a sister of Hiley's. Doug
