It was the first I had heard about the marriage bonds with the McPherons. It took me a while, but I finally found the pedigree that Nan Curran had sent me. There is a David Logan as son, but he born much much later in 1844. I remember when I received this that I asked her very pointedly if there was any possibility that the son was misindentified, but she didn't seem to think so. Some things in this pedigree don't add up. One is that he supposedly has a daughter a year after he is dead in 1849, at which time he would have been almost 68.
