    3. Jim, Try this URL for the library: http://www.ggcpl.org/ Off of it, are the hours. Most important however is the Elmer Cox Collection, which is housed across the street in a separate house - there's a picture of it on the website so it won't be hard to find. Right on Main St., almost opposite the brick library itself. Sorry, I can't help about motel - we stay with relatives - or the courthouse either. But the Cox collection, and its director, Don Miller, are really helpful. We'll be researching the Brown and Trobaugh and Hull families that were :in Greenville between about 1780-1820. : :We would appreciate any suggestions about using the courthouse records, the :library, and perhaps a Historical Society. We've never been there before, so :we'll be real newbies. : :Also, if anyone can suggest a clean, resonably-priced motel, we'd be :grateful. : :Jim Patrick :Tampa Florida : : :==== TNGREENE Mailing List ==== :TNGenWeb's Project for Greene Co :http://www.rootsweb.com/~tngreene :
