"JENNINGS, George, b. 1837 Co. "E" 4th Tenn. Infantry USA Civil War. Wife Synthia who died @ 75 yrs. of age. This Jennings family have over 60 family members buried @ Gethsemane Methodist Cemetery, Gr. TN." "JENNINGS, George B. was a J.P. in Gr. TN. in the yr 1836 & officiated @ the marriage between James Smith & Lucinda Hipps (free persons of color). Thomas Temple sec."
