I hope you've made use of the treasure of your grandmother's memory. There are many, many notes in my GEDCOM which were given to me by my mother who passed away 2 years ago at 87. (There are still times when I'll see something about our family and reach for the phone before remembering that my treasure can't answer any more.) I haven't spent too much time on the Payne family lately, the line just seems to go back to Joseph and I've never been able to pass that brick wall. Can you share what information you need.
