Searching early-day Johnson family. There are four Johnson men listed on the 1783 tax list: James, John, Joseph and William. Would like to make contact with anybody searching any of these men. Can anybody tell me if the records in the book, "Tennessee's First Settlers & Soldiers" by Edward C. McAmis are from Greene Co. area? There is an entry for one John Johnson which reads:  "Johnson, John, b/c 1780 - 1790 today's Gr. TN.  1st wife unknown, 2nd wife Lovely Pullan or Pullin (Puller?). Does anybody out there connect to this John Johnson, his siblings, or in-laws? If so, would like to make contact.
