Catherine Fann was a plaintiff in a court case in Greene County, TN, 1795. GREENE COUNTY, TENNESSEE MINUTES OF THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS 1783-1795; November Term 1795; James Hise enters into Bond with Jacob Hise and John Bird, his securities, in the sum of 200 dollars for the maintenance of Bastard Child born of Catherine Fann being charged on oath to be the reputed father. UNK FANN/HISE was born in Greene County, TN ca 1793. Catherine maried Obediah McBee-30 July 1797 in Greene Co., TN- but I have never found any information on the Illigitimate "Hise" child. Do not know if the child was male or female and do not know if Catherine & Obediah raised the child, no name was ever given in family history or court records.
