Polly's first husband, one Joshua FINCHER, died a young man ca 1822-1823 Greene Co., TN, leaving Polly with at least a couple of children, sons John and Joshua. John was my distaff great-great-grandfather. John left Greene County and came to northeast Missouri about 1851 where he reared his family - six children - before dying here in 1884. He and his wife Lucinda HICKS d/o Stephen and Hannah GREY HICKS are (all four!) buried in Fabius Cemetery, Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO, five miles from my home here.
