Vickie, If the look up offer is still open, wonder if you could see if any Likins/Likens/Lakens/Lykins--e.g William, Peter, Gravenor appear in the apprentice book--probably would have been apprenticed as hatters. And, if this is too much, don't both, if you could check out Whinery/Whinnery/Whenery etc. listings in particular Joseph. Both the Likins and the Whinerys were in Greene County during the time period, liking near Quaker Knob, close to Rheatown.
