Another genetic clue stated that there was a Solomon Turner in Carter County, TN who presented with recessive trait of blue eyes (noted from his Civil War military record). A recent conversation with another Turner family member in Greene County revealed that there was a high frequency presentation of blue-eyed Turners in Greene County, a trait that was much noted in the Turner families there. It is my assumption that the migration from York County, SC seeded both Greene County, TN and Carter County, TN with its Turner families. My query is that I would like to be contacted via email concerning individuals who may be research the Turner family lines and to share research that may link the distant past between the York County, SC establishment of the Turn! ers and what their migration was from the European continent.
