At the time, I didn't recall ever seeing that before & wondered if it was the same but not having information with dates, etc., handy, & being involved in searching for something else (probably a Phillips-Register connection) I never did get back around to it. So when you mentioned that marriage, I knew it existed but couldn't remember the date. I went back & checked & your date of 1819 (14 Jan) matches. Now, if my 1812 birthdate for Royal m. Betsy is correct, there would be way too much age difference for this to be the same. So I think you're right about being two different people. With Royal being such an unusual name (to me anyway) I think it seems pretty likely that they probably were related someway. I guess it's back where I started until I can get more informatio! > n.
