Some it is right, some of it is not. The men certainly did not spell their name Malone, there was also a Malone family in Greene County at the same time, but Maloney is a distinct name. Greene County records are full of records by the children using their correct name of Maloney. Robert was a tailor, but his pupil was Andrew Johnson, not Andrew Jackson. William A. and Thomas are not sons of Robert.
