Jacob W. Thomason was born 21 Apr 1869 and died 14 Nov 1935, called Jake, he was son of Hail B. Thomason and Nancy Monteith. He married my paternal aunt, Mary Elizabeth Reynolds 11 Jan 1891. I think she was born in 1870 and died after 1916, but am not sure. I know nothing more about them except that Mary was dtr of Alfred Dick Reynolds and Lucinda Jane Myers. Abraham was the son of James Cannon and possibly either Margaret Cullen or Rebecca Lackens. My guess is on the former for the moment, but I do not have definitive proof. I am open to any information on James, Rebecca and Margaret (my line comes I believe from James and Rebecca). I do believe GW had 9 children, let me know if you do not have their names. We all know what back breaking work it is to clean an old cemetery, this is a wonderful idea. The goats can even be put on a chain [like a dog] in case there is no fence. Boy I wish I would of thought of this when our old family cemetery was in desperate need of cleaning. Patti Using Goats to clear a Cemetery Four sturdy goats are doing their part to uncover up to 30 grave sites at the Ballard Family Cemetery in Henderson County, North Carolina. The brambles and underbrush were so thick it was hard to see anything, much less walk around. The free labor is supplied by goats on loan from Henderson County Magistrate Sandra Laughter. It's hard to tell what's here until we clean it out," says Toby Linville, the county staff member for the Henderson County Cemetery Advisory Committee....

I could not find a 5 year Cora Bowman born in TN in June, 1895. I did find a Cora M. Brown, born June 1895. She is living with her father, Albert, born Sept 1860; her mother, Ida L., born Mar 1875; brother Earl A., born Mar 1897; and sister Ethel L., born Aug 1899. Their race is listed as black. In the 1900 federal census, they are living in Civil Dist.13, Sullivan Co., TN. They were all born in Tennessee and they all list their parents as being born in Tennessee. Albert and Ida Brown had been married for 6 years. If this is your family, I can look for them in other census records. There are other 5 year old girls named Cora Brown born in TN in 1895, but none of the rest list June for the month of birth. The information about Anna and Allen's children does have at least one error in it regarding my GG grandfather Thomas. He did NOT die in childhood as the article states (it says "may have"). I emailed the contributors today and asked them to correct this. Here is a link to the article. Hope this helps!
