Margaret Key (b. 1867-d. 1941) who had Hugh H. Owewns in 1894. Margaret was the daughter of Hugh Key (1840-1900) and Eliza Mae Graham b. 1847. Hugh and Eliza had the following children: Meg, Ida 1866, Margaret 1867, Siller 1868, Charles W. 1873, Evaline 1876, James 1878, William A. 1879, Mary Nancy 1882, John P. Holtsinger 1884. Eliza Mae Graham b. 1847 was the daughter of James Graham (1808-88) and Priscilla Malone (1810-48) and their children were: Martha 1830, Temperance 1832, George Jackson 1834, Abraham 1836, Emanuel 1837, Eliakim 1838, Margaret 1840, Catherine 1844, William 1946. Eliza Mae 1847. Priscilla Malone was the daughter of Humphrey Malone (1785-1822) and Temperance Carter (1787-1835) who m. 12/6/1808 and had the following children: John 1810, Priscilla 1810 (twins), Nancy A. 1812, Ellender (Nellie) 1814, George 1818, Abraham 1820. Humphrey Malone was the son of John Malone the 2nd (1752-1823) and Mary Anne Posey (1760-aft. 1830) who m. 7/28/1780 and had 9 children--one of whom was Mary Polly Malone (my great grandmother) b. 1796. John Malone 2nd was the son of John Malone 1st b. 1/1/1772 in Carroll co. Md or Fincastle Co. Va. who m. Sarah Edith Cole and had Mary, Michael 1746, Comfort 1750, John 1752, William 1759, George 1762 and possibly others. The Malones were Irish and came to America and fought in the Lord Dunmore War and the Rev. War. They got land grants in TN.

Joseph was married 3 times: 1. Nancy Catherine Malone 1841 and they had l child: John Marion in 1852. 2. Nancy Lane 3/31/1861 3. Sarah White 10/11/1866 I ony show 2 children with Nancy Lane: Sarah Jane b. l//4/1861 (prior to marriage), and Susan b. 1862-66 With Sarah White I show 8 children and I have those names and dates if you want. Joseph Gass was the son of William Gass (1786-1847) and Nancy Carter Reynolds (c.1790-1860) m. 5/30/1811. They had at least 8 children whose names and dates I have. William Gass was the son of Jacob Gass b. c. 1858-60 Ireland, d. 1799 Greene Co. TN. m. Mary Unknown in Ireland. They had 7 children whose names and dates I have. Nancy Lane's parents were William Lane and Susannah Haynes. I don't have all of James and Sarah Jane's children, only Hobe, Benjamin, Worley, Cara and Charles Arthur. James Smith died in Kansas.

Try Arkansas and MO. where I know some Whites moved. You can also try the other search engine by state, but probably the informa- tion will be in the Archives section. I don't know what the cut off date is for that section but usually its for information before 1900. Once you find the right state, then you can search cemetery records, and other places, that may not be available through a Search Engine.
