My great grandparents were Charles Elliot Davis and Florence Starnes. They are buried at Cross-Anchor cemetery in Greene County. If anyone could give me directions to that cemetery coming from Knoxville I would appreciate it. Charles Davis' Parents were William Davis and Susan Bales. I believe his grandparents were Thomas and Elizabeth Davis. Florence Starnes parents were James Starnes and Mary Weems and I believe her grandparents were Samuel & Sarah Starnes and James and Catherine Weems. I would like to know any information available on these people. I assume some of them are buried at Cross-Anchor cemetery, but I don't know. Thanks.

The thought is that perhaps the Freeman’s were also in Greene Co. TN in the late 1700s or early 1800s. It is possible that the father of Aaron Freeman was James Freeman born after 1735.
