Hi Bill, Believe it or not, there is a stack of Terrys, so I'll just.give them all. Garland Terry, Sumner County, 1810 tax list. Captain Black's company. Isabel Terry, Grainger County, 1810 census 0-00001 John Terry, Anderson County, Plaintiff, Court minutes 1810, p. 4 John Terry, Campbell County, in lawsuit. Deeds p. 62 John Terry, White County, 1811 tax list. Capt. Pruet's company. Joseph Terry, Knox County defendant. Samuel Terry, Bledsoe County deeds, witness, 1810 Samuel Terry, Knox County, defendant. Samuel Terry, Rhea County, sued Joseph Dunham. William Terry, Campbell County, partner in business. Deeds, p. 62. Sounds like Samuel Terry spent most of his time in courtrooms. The book referred to as Deeds must be Campbell County Deeds, Grants, etc. 1806 - 1810. The page numbers refer to the WPA typecripts, which can be found at the TSLA, Nashville. I hope you find what you're looking for. Best wishes, Nancy
Hi Nancy, This will give me some names to ponder. I don't see Richard L. Terry who married Ann Murry in Grainger in 1797. Maybe they went out of state.
