The rest of my examples are Roachs or Owens. I think because I was looking for the Heirs of Edward document Roachs and Owens were on my mind. Anyway I did not have a whole lot of time with this microfilm and just sat and maniacally punched the printer button and seemed to have arrived home with mostly Roach or Owen stuff. I can't keep all the Roachs straight (I have a lot of trouble keeping the Mayes, Ivys, Longs et. al. straight <grin>) so I am hoping that Sharon, Bill or some other Roach researcher (I know there are a lot of Roachs, but I am hoping some of these will be closely "connected" to some of you) can tell us a little more about these gentlemen. Sharon, I didn't send any of these discharges on to you when I sent the land records so let me know if you want copies. I did get duplicates of some of these, but apparently not all of them. However, if you or anyone else is interested in these discharges I can get photocopies or scan them. <grin>This will involve "making friends" with the scanner and software again. I am not a very technical person. I can master technical things, but If I am not using this knowledge often it seems to go to the trash bin in my head and is "deleted" almost immediately. Gail
