There are several Ballinger/Ballenger, and only one Trogden - that being Elvira Trogden that married Rice Coffey 17 June 1839. Looks like the submitter reports Rice as being the son of Meredith Coffee, who was an ancestor of --- what else? --- a Roach. Thomas Edward Roach published a newsletter of sorts about the Roach family for some years. I think I have copies of most, if not all, of those publications. He died - I don't know how many years ago - and 12+ years ago, the publication was no longer exclusively Roach. I don't know whether or not it is still in existance. Betty B.
