I agree that Grainger seems to be one big happy family. My families in Grainger are Chesher and Yates. I see names my Dad (born and raised in Grainger Co.) talked about endlessly. Some I'm sure are related by mg - Roach, Michell and vineyard. If anyone sees A Chesher or Yates in their trees, would they please contact me? Thanks for reading and any reply I might get Milly [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: Greer, Nancy Ms <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 11:34 AM Subject: [TNGRAING-L] Intermarrying in Grainger County, TN > Dear Possible, Probable and Potential Cuzzins, > I have at LEAST 3 families who intermarried: my GREERs, MYNATTs & VINEYARDs. > I've seen others, but perhaps a bit out of my direct lines. Thanks SharR Maybe I can find her in the 1960 census with her parents. My grandmother was Florence Yates. She married William H Chesher in1863. They could be sisters. Again thanks so much Milly ----- Original Message ----- From: SharR <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 4:55 PM Subject: [TNGRAING-L] Intermarrying in Grainger County, TN > Milly, > Absolum ROACH b: 27 Aug 1831 md: Catherine "Kate" YATES -17 Dec 1861 > Grainger Co TN.
