Hi, Kenneth - Thanks for the info. Betty B. From: Kenneth Hodge Reply-To: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [TNGRAING-L] John Mayes/Mary Hodges Date: Wed, 12 Mar 2003 10:33:54 -0500 The following are some of the Hodge/s mentioned with other associated names in Grainger. I'm researching all the Hodge/s in early Grainger. Thomas Hodges (no idea where he came from) married in Jefferson County 5 May 1840 Catherine Miller, d/o of Robert Miller and Sarah "Sally" VanDyke. He was 20 years older than Catherine, so he probably had an earlier family someplace. They had issue: i. Sarah F. Hodge was born in Tennessee circa 1843. ii. Rufus M. Hodge was born in Tennessee circa 1844; served in Union Army, pvt, Co "G", 9th Cav. iii. Mary A. Hodge was born in Tennessee circa 1845. iv. Thomas Hodge was born 1 Oct 1847. Thomas died 22 Jul 1913 at 65 years of age. His burial was after 22 Jul 1913 in Piedmont Cemetery, Piedmont Community, Jefferson County, Tennessee. He married Celia Unknown. Celia was born 17 Oct 1848. v. Nancy Hodge was born in Tennessee circa 1849. ******************************** 1.
