GOOD GRIEF !!! I didn't mean to start a riot...HEY I live near the WEST coast....and don't usually turn my puter on this early, but my hubbie was playing games.. SO, I'll tell ya'all.. just calm down !!!! nobody stole any documents for us...it was MR. Collins who was/is the president of the Hist Soc., I believe...he made 3 sets of copies of the contents of File boxs 52-67..in the old school back in Summer of 97, when no one was doing anything about the mess...I'm sure he put them back.. Ed Elkin(Dec'd) Mary Roach of Knoxville, and I ,paid Mr. Collins to do this..Ed transcribesd them before he died... I'm very glad to hear they are being cleaned and filmed AT LAST !!!!!...If I live any where near there I'd be there helping also....but over 2000 miles each way, is a bit much for me <Smile> SharR ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gail Roorda" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 7:45 AM Subject: Re: [TNGRAING-L] Grainger County Records > Dear Duane, > > You have not really given Shar an opportunity to answer HAVE youe.
