Ross and List, I am sorry that I had questions of two families at once. Just thought it would be another email that would not bring a response. I was very excited when there seemed to be an interest. I will try and clarify and also answer questions that have been asked. I will try and do some of that direct. I am not sure if you want the list tied up with all of my questions. I have found my husband's grandfather, John Carl McCann, listed with his wife Emma Audestia Boatman McCann in the 1920 Prentice, IL Census. They were married in 1915 in Hannibal, MO. Two of their children had been born at this time. Also living with them is John Carl's sister. I cannot make out her name. It looks like it starts with an N. She is 18 years old and was also born in TN. I am wondering if anyone would have access to (I believe there was one) the 1910 and 1900 Census? The Cameron connection is supposed to be through the McCann side. John Carl McCann moved his family from Prentice IL to the Corpus Christi, TX area. I do not know if John Carl McCann moved with his parents to IL or if they stayed in Grainger County. I do know that family remained in Grainger County. More to Come!
