I hope for everyone's sake that the records were microfilmed. Like you I live out of state and have to rely on the wonderful people on the mail lists who will do lookups. Is there someone who will do lookups in Grainger Co.? I'm looking for an 1862 court record involving Sarah/Sallie Acuff Dodson/Dotson. It lists 4 of her children who were still living at the time. I think it has to do with her estate or dower. If anyone has access to this type of record, I would like to hear from them. This is one I really need. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: Conni Braun [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 8:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TNGRAING-L] Grainger County Records I hope for everyone's sake that the records were microfilmed.
