Betty, Thanks for the verification. I have two interests in this man. First, he Married Ella Mynatt (my Grandfather's older sister) and after she died he married Mondalee Hensley (my Grandmother's younger sister). Secondly, I have a number of pictures that I took at Mynatt reunions back in the late 40s/early 50s, some only labeled with things like "the Roach contingent" and no names. I would love to find one of the Roach kids in those pictures who could identify them. Ella and Carter had three sons. They were Hobart (17 Aug 1895 - Oct 1968), Henry (1897 - ?) and Wm. Carter, Jr., who died at about three weeks of age. He was born on March 22, 1899, Ella died March 30 and the baby on April 7. Carter took Hobart (I don't know what happened to Henry) and went back home to James and Rachel where they were in the 1900 census. Florentha is a Hensley name so I'm sure she was Mondalee's kid. I think I remember my grandmother saying that she died either in infancy or early childhood. When did Carter die? I haven't a clue. What you had on the second bunch of kids is what I have with no major differences. I do have some of the later generations if you are interested but don't want to post them to the list because I don't want to put anything out on living folks. Thanks again, Gail
