Good Morning List: I am back with another Mayes question. I have a Nancy May b 10/11/1813, d 11/01/1907. She married a William Mayes in Sumner Co., TN on 05/31/1847. Would anyone know which William Mayes married her? This William's first wife was mary Hobdy. I have a printout which indicates that William Franklin Mayes was the man who married her but information I already have indicates that a Nancy May married William, son of Sherrod. This William's first spouse was Susannah Mays. Are there two Nancy May women? I have seen posts on the list which could indicate this and would like to clear up my own confusion if possible.
