List:I have found I have put Sarah Magee (not sure of which spelling is correct) daughter of Zera Magee as a spouse to John Mayes, son of William who was the son of Henry Jr., son of Henry Sr, son of Henry. I also have put Sarah McGee (no parent listed) as the spouse of John Mayes Jr. (born about 1815), son of Jonathan, son of Sherrod. I would like to know if there were 2 Sarah Magee/McGee's married to two different John Mayes. I have no dates for the John Mayes, son of William. Please help clear this up. Sheri Sheri P. One must be a little careful of information found in Goodspeed's, but I have found the subject's own dates are usually accurate. There is a search feature and you can search on Mayes, but this does not appear to be working today. By chance would anyone have any information on the Rebecca Mayes who married James Stubblefield on 04/12/1850 Hawkins Co., TN, with William K. Mayes as security?
