I just want everyone to know that is is almost impossible to get unsubscribed from Ancestry.com...... I canceled this subscribtion 3 weeks ago, so to have the summer off,,,,,, Look what I got Sunday!!! I have had to cancel my credit card and wait another few days to get my money back..... Nothing could be done thro ancestry.com...... My only way was thru the bank. By federal law, you have 60 days from the date the charge hits your credit card account to dispute it. Just write a letter to them telling them what charge you are disputing and why. They are required to remove the charge from your account and not charge you any interest while they are investigating the matter. You will later receive a letter from them with the outcome. It will most likely say that the charge has been removed from your account. (They want to keep their customers happy.) It may be aggravating, but there is really no reason to cancel your credit card.
