Just curious - Did you call them on the telephone to cancel your subscription? You cannot cancel with an email - it has to be a phone call - and it has to be cancelled before the subscription is due. They give all this information in the email they send telling us the subscription will expire in a few weeks. When I cancelled my subscription, on the phone, they gave me a Confirmation Number for the cancellation. I recommend that anyone cancelling a subscription with Ancestry take down the name of the person that you spoke with, make sure you get a confirmation number, and hang onto number until you are sure they did not charge your credit card.
