According to Grainger Co., Tn Death Records- Jacob Harbin, age 80, born Grainger Co, father John Harbin, mo Nannie Mullins, both born Grainger Co, died 1921 Death Certificate #54 Jacob Harbin served in Company F, First Regiment of Tenn Volunteer Cavalry during the Civil War. This information from his pension application dated 3 April 1915. "I was born in Grainger County, Tennessee, 1841. My present wife is Sena Harbin, formerly Sena Roberts, and we were married 17 August 1865 by H. C. Helton JP. I was married to Harriet Hill November 18, 1860 who died in about 11 months after her marriage to me. My children are- Mary L. Harbin b 9 July 1866 W. T. Harbin b 31 Oct 1868 Phillip Harbin b 17 Aug 1870 Jasson Harbin b 14 May 1872 G. W. Harbin b 14 April 1875 d 11 Nov 1912 W. C. ? Harbin b 17 July 1877 Wiley Harbin b 2 July 1880 H. C.
