Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Sallie Hurst; brothers, Robert and Thomas Hurst; sisters, Roxie and Imogene Maples; granddaughter, Linda Sue Johnson. Survived by son, Jerry Acuff and wife, Patricia; daughters, Louise Johnson and husband, Earl, Jeanette Sharpe and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Beverly Young, Steve Johnson and Scotte Conard; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Funeral service 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 Fielden Chapel. Interment to follow in Acuff Cemetery.
