Listers, i'm still looking for my missing great grand father JACK MOORE. a son said his dad was from TX. as i search i sort of doubt it. bad blood started when JACK left the family about 1880-81. he returned about 20 yrs later. an argument started, he left, never heard of again. lost to history. my MOOREs were a secretive,non talking bunch. NOTE: a cuz & i have had DNA done, he a 25 marker,me a 12. my 12 has matched exactly FIX & MATTOCKS. never heard of ot found these names. anyone here have those names?. NOTE: E me off list. as it seems our greatgrand mother was NANCY ANN MAYES, b.1845 in RAY Co.MO. as a child the family moved back to CLAIBORNE Co.TN. Nancy's parents: STERLING & SALLIE CARR MAYES were b.there. Sallies mom was a McCUBBINS. this is our home county. along with GRAINGER *& KNOX Cos.TN.
