    3. Dear fellow Grainger County researchers. In case anyone is wondering what this is all about??? and why in all my years on the list you have never heard anthing about my great great grandparents Nick and Jane Cooter Long?? What this is all about is that some months ago I promised to send a fellow researcher in this list my information on the Hazelwoods (Hazlewoods) at least the descendent of Thomas and Barsheba? and Blany and Catherine Manson? Hazelwood. Blany was most likely married about three times, but I would be glad to just get the children of his LAST wife straightened out. Also I was going to send her my information on my Longs although my Longs are different Longs than hers. She probably thinks that I have fallen into a hole out here is Missouri. Actually my "nearest" ancestress fell and broke her hip and then.... , I could just go on and on...... (<grin> but I won't!) I have resolved to just print off what I have and sent it on this week! <grin> It seems that I will have no time soon to do any further research. <smile> Answer to why you all have never heard of the Longs...when I printed out my data I encountered once again all the discrepamcies and "holes" in my data that I have been unables to "fill in" or "fix" <sigh> More about these holes as I have time this evening. Gail

    3. So you are living in Missouri? In the area of Miller/Moniteau Co., perchance? I have an ancestor Mary Ann or Jane Long, b. MO, married Hardy Shadwick in Miller Co. about 1860. Could you be related? Thanks, Trueman Farris. jfarris@execpc.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gail Roorda" <possum2@softhome.net> To: <TNGRAING-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 6:19 PM Subject: Re: [TNGRAING-L] Re: Longs > Dear fellow Grainger County researchers. > > In case anyone is wondering what this is all about??? and why in all my > years on the list you have never heard anthing about my great great > grandparents Nick and Jane Cooter Long?? > > What this is all about is that some months ago I promised to send a fellow > researcher in this list my information on the Hazelwoods (Hazlewoods) at > least the descendent of Thomas and Barsheba? and Blany and Catherine > Manson?
