    3. Sandy, I haven't found this particular Tabitha, although Tabitha was a name commonly used in my line. Another similar name is Talitha which doesn't seem to be a misprint and is also common in my line. On 10 Feb. 1816, Eli Hodges bought 140 acres in Grainger Co. at the head of Hodge's Creek and on the South side of Holston River for $300. The seller was Jacob Wilson and witnesses were Henry Boatman, Ninian Riggs and Jesse Prichard. The land was on Rigg's line to Welcom Hodge's corner and then to a conditional line between Ambrose Hodges and Henry Haggard land's. This land was originally granted to Henry Haggard by North Carolina on 30 October 1794 and was grant #215. 10/30/1794 Grant #215 to Henry Haggard and Ambrose Hodges for 300 Acres on South side of the Holston in Hawkins County. 1804 Tax List -- Captain Samuel Bunch [Waterways listed: P.
