    3. Thank you...David & Phoebe are mine. My Moses would be much older than the one listed in the 1860 census; however, I am sure the 1830 census is mine. Thanks for your info. -----Original Message----- From: Grace McGinnis [mailto:mcginnis@planetc.com] Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2006 9:20 AM To: TNGRAING-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TNGRAING-L] Re: 1806 Legislative Petition of the citizens of Grainger and Claiborne Counties to changes the road to Kentucky John Duke married Susanna Easley 1803 in Grainger Co., Tn. I believe the Pleasant Duke on the petition is his brother. John and Susanna also had a son Pleasant Duke. The younger Pleasant is named in the settlement of the estate of Miller Easley, father of Susanna, 1846 in Grainger. Regarding Moses Collins- he is listed on the 1830 and 1840 census of Claiborne Co., Tn. A Moses Collins married Elizabeth Atkins 10 March 1850 in Grainger Co., Tn. I believe this Moses is listed on the 1860 census of Claiborne Co., Tn., 6th sub-div Tazewell- Moses Collins 58, Elizabeth 25, Louverna 3, Milam Shiplet 23, Jane 28, John 3, Mary A. 6/12 1850 census Claiborne Co., Tn #1021-1021 David Collins 60, b Va, Phebe 50, b Tn, Cassa 35, b Tn, William D. 3 b Tn. Sorry I can't be of more help. Grace ==== TNGRAING Mailing List ==== To UNSUBSCRIBE please send your message to tngraing-l-request@rootsweb.com -- No virus found in this incoming message.
