    3. Continuing with the Longs... 2nd problem or discrepancy in my Long research is that I DON"T thinkJoseph William and John Henry Long sons of Susan Emily Ivy were twins although my records currently indicates they WERE. According to the census they were apparently very close together in age and for all I know were born on the same day.. We Ivys have a tome actuallly tomes (the second book about the Ivys (Iveys) was written to correct errors in the firast book, but my line only goes up to the first immigrants to Grainger County my 4th great grandparents Henry and Jane Howell Ivy (Ivey) amd their family. Although some of the more recent information in George Franks Ivey's Iveys in the United States is actually reliable (over the years I have beonged to various Ivey, Ivy, Ivie surname lists where shooting broadsides at this book was everyone's favorite occupation) the dates for this family are year dates and way off. Where did I get the the information on John Henry and Joseph William? Cemetery transcriptions and Stretzer Home records cited in a new book I have. I am on a budget and the last time I checked a North Carolina death certificate would cost me $7.00 and a Tennessee death certificate would cost me ten. Gail
