I am trying to locate Long Cemetery in Grainger County. Several years ago I tried to locate the cemetery during a visit. I went to Washburn on Rt. 31. None of those I approached at the Baptist church knew where the Long Cemetery was located, despite directions from one source saying it was 100 yards East of the Church. There was a large cemetery across from the church but was told that wasn't Long Cemetery. One gentleman took me about a half mile North (?) to an cemetery. It didn't have any name on it. I was not able to locate anyone in this small cemetery. I will be traveling through this part of Tennessee in the near future and again would like to try to locate the cemetery. Can someone familar with Grainger county and Long Cemetery provide me directions how to find it? Thanks Larry
