Gail, Thanks so much for the information. I have the birth/death dates etc from Isaac's tombstone and his parents as well but was hoping the death certificate might yield some new information. Isaac Soard's property in Hamblen included a Cave known as Soard's Cave. The property was also owned by the Fry family and I suspect Fry's school must be nearby. The name of the Cave changed to Fry's Cave. Thank you again for your help and information. Richard: I grew up south of Morristown, TN at Lowland. I remember a cave called Fry's Cave between Lowland and Morristown, near Fry's school. I was in the cave at least once.
