    3. So far that name hasn't surfaced. I'm just starting to create my Vineyard history so it may surface later. So far I have 35 Nances listed in my Vineyard line. I don't know if I have any additional ones in the Mitchell line. I only have Edd Roach in my Vineyard branch so far. Now I'm seeing Massingfils popup. I find it so interesting to see how many of these lines keep crossing. Hopefully as more and more records are available for Grainger County, we'll find some of the answers to our questions. I really wish we could locate some information about my 5th great grandmother. We don't have anything that gives her name. I think she was born in Virgina where she married Old William Mitchell and then died around 1813-15. He left TN and travelled a bit before settling in Missouri. He was living with a grandson, William Mitchell Wright in Madison County, Missouri at the time of his death. I understand he had some land so must have been a pretty good business man although he couldn't write his name. We only have his mark on his application for a Rev. War pension. Keep in touch and let's see where this quest goes.
