Everyone working on this project has the thanks of the rest of us who live out of state and cannot be there to help. We all look forward to having access to the indexes and eventually copies of those documents that relate to our family. Is there a genealogical society in Grainger County now and do they plan to get active and possibly print books with these indexes? Several years ago I inquired about joining the society and was told that all they did was take your money - no membership newsletter or publications - so I didn't bother to join.
